Make-It-Monday with the Kraft Outlet

Welcome to Make-It-Monday with the Kraft Outlet. The Challenge Word for this week is "Family". Use this week's word to inspire you to create a project and then link it up at the bottom of this post before 6:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Sunday January 23.  All participants in our challenges this month have a chance to be featured on our "Feature You Fridays" posts as well as be entered to win a $20.00 Kraft Outlet Store Voucher!  We'll also pick a "Top Three" from each challenge and those participants will receive a sweet button for their blog.  The more challenges you enter this month, the more chances you have to win the voucher prize too!  Remember to follow our challenge guidelines to include either Kraft cardstock or products from Kraft Outlet on your project to be eligible for the prizes.

Design Team Reveal

Tracy has created a heritage mini album for her "family" project.  The album's base is made with #772 Lunch Bag Kraft A2 Standard Envelopes, and the following products were used throughout the album:  #163 Lunch Bag Kraft Text paper, #202 Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock, #886 1.0 x 1.5 Rectangular Brown Kraft label Sheet, #34 Precut Chipboard Full Sheet.  You can find pictures of all the pages on Tracy's blog and a list of all the materials and tools used to create the album.  She's also made a video you can watch HERE.

Kristina created a "Family" layout using one of her favorite family photos. Kraft Text Weight Paper worked great for a photo mat, journaling spot and a scallop embellishment, Buff Ivory Labels all inked up created a nice background for her title, and a Silver Bottle Cap altered with alcohol inks and a button add a nice touch to this layout. Please visit Kristina's blog for more details about this Family layout.

Audrey took a fun approach to this week's challenge word by creating a layout about her "family" of snowmen that cheer up her home during the cold of January. She used her favorite color combination of kraft and white and added depth and interest to the page by layering Light Kraft cardstock with Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock for a subtle monochromatic frame. The Round Metal Edged Grungy Tag substitutes for the "O" in her snowy title, while a pair of Grungy Prim Tags offer a spot for a little love note. She added a couple of Lunch Bag Kraft journaling strips, and topped the page with a large felt snowflake. For more details and photos, please visit Audrey's blog.

Thanks for joining us today!  You have until Sunday January 23 at 6:00 p.m., Eastern Time to enter your project for this week's challenge.
