Make-It-Monday with Kraft Outlet

Welcome to Make-It-Monday with the Kraft Outlet. Challenge #6 theme for this week is "It's Hip to be Square". Use this week's theme to inspire you to create a project and then link it up at the bottom of this post before 6:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Sunday February 20.  All participants in our challenges for the month of February have a chance to be featured on our "Feature You Fridays" posts as well as be entered to win a $15.00 Kraft Outlet Store Voucher!  The more challenges you enter this month, the more chances you have to win!  Remember to follow our challenge guidelines to include either Kraft cardstock or products from Kraft Outlet on your project to be eligible for the prizes.

Design Team "Hip to be Square" Challenge Reveal

For this week's "Hip to be Square" challenge Tracy decided to make a quilted card.  The card base is the wonderful linen textured Buff Ivory coverweight cardstock from Kraft Outlet and mixed amid all the layering she also used Brown Kraft coverweight cardstock, and Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock.  Tracy used some of the new Twill tape Babette is carrying in the store as well as one of the Round Metal Edge Grungy Prim Tags and a tiny bit of the 7 Gypsies Victoria Seam Binding for the bow embellishment.  She even used some of the extra string that came on the grungy tag to tie the little knots on her button trio. Audrey Pettit

Audrey created a baby card for this week's Hip to be Square challenge using some of her favorite Kraft Outlet supplies. A base of Buff Ivory cardstock and a layer of embossed Brown Kraft cardstock frame a patchwork of stitched patterned paper squares, perfectly reminiscent of a baby's first crib quilt. She added a Nestabilities frame die cut from Pre-cut Chipboard, more die cut shapes, buttons, bows, and a letter B for baby, and finished the card with a computer printed sentiment strip on Buff Ivory cardstock. Kristina Harmon

Kristina made a card just loaded with squares for this week's challenge. A 5x5 card base made from Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock is covered 1x1 squares folded in half to make a 4x4 square design. The Venice Collection of Gaffer Tape was used to make this flower tied off with Twill Tying Tape and a sentiment stamped onto a Grungy Prim Tag 2.
