Saturday Special: Sweet Bear Creek Whims

The Prim Nest is a website that features a gathering of Primitive, Folk Art, and Vintage Artists helping you to feather your nest. There you'll find a vast collection of art and vintage pieces for sale by a variety of vendors and artists.

Today I'm featuring a piece by artist Jody Johnson of  Sweet Bear Creek Whims. Meet Sweet Eleanor and her favorite dolly! Eleanor is as darling as she can be, and would be a wonderful addition to any Raggedy collection. She is approximately 22", face, socks and shoes are handpainted. I have added rusty bells on her shoes and cinnamon hearts on her straps. Eleanor is coffee dyed for a nice prim look, eyes glazed for sparkle, her body weighted. Her hair is a nice mohair yarn. She is signed and dated on her tummy. HER DOLLY: This little 8" annie is a one of a kind doll, designed by the artist specifically for Eleanor. She has a handpainted face, socks and shoes, red mohair yarn and a tiny rusty bell around her neck. She is coffee dyed, signed and dated. To learn more about how to purchase Eleanor or other designs from this artist, visit this link right here.

For you papercrafters...don't forget there is still time to join this week's challenge. For details and to link your project, click on the Current Challenge link in our top right hand sidebar.
