Design Team Reveal "It's a Guy Thing" Challenge

Tracy MacDonald

Tracy decided to try out the Prisma color pencil on kraft technique and found that the Kraft Outlet Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock made a wonderful blending surface for the pencils.  She added some Earthy Hemp Cord, a Scalloped Grungy Prim Tag, black Twill Tying Tape tabs, and a sentiment using the ATC Label rubberstamp.

Audrey Pettit

Audrey created a masculine love note card for this week's It's a Guy Thing challenge. Bits of metal, vintage ephemera, labels and tags all give this project a masculine feel, while one button and a simple bow still add the girlish charm Audrey loves. Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock stamped with script text enhances the love note theme and pun sentiment. And a Large Manila Shipping Tag and Black Twill Tying Tape add to the masculine feel while layering in lots of visual detail. For more information and photos, please visit Audrey's blog.

Frances Sylvia
For this challenge Frances chose to create a layout about her "guy!" She used Brown Baker's Twine, Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock, and a White Post Card Shipping Tag to create a layout that explains how much her husband means to her. For close-ups, visit Frances' blog, Forever and a Year.
