Watch Us Wednesday with Frances Sylvia: Chunky Flower Tutorial

Hello! Frances here to share a quick tutorial on how to create this chunky flower...

Step 1: Gather supplies...Vintage Dictionary paper, Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock, scallop punch, buttons, Brown Baker's Twine, and glue dots.

Step 2: Punch many scalloped circles out of the Vintage Dictionary paper.

LinkStep 3: Fold 2 sides of the circle into each other, making sure that the bottom of the petal is smaller than the top.
Step 4: Attach the petal using a glue dot to a leftover scalloped circle.

Step 5: Using the same scalloped punch, punch many circles out of the Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock. Fold each of the circles into fourths and layer to desired fullness. Attach Kraft flower to the center of the Dictionary flower.
Step 6: Add a button, with a Brown Baker's Twine Bow, to the center of the flower.

Step 7: Attach!

To create this sweet, versatile card, I first added a Chocolate Chipboard Frame to the front of a Lunch Bag Kraft CD Sleeve Envelope. I then attached the flower I created in the center. To create the leaves, I adhered the 7 Gypsies Avignon Patterned Paper Tape to Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock. I cut the leaves out by hand, and attached using a glue dot . For the insert, I used a Buff Postcard Shipping Tag. I added some coordinating ribbon and Green Baker's Twine.
