For this week's Movies, Songs or Books challenge, Audrey made an altered journal book for jotting down thoughts and random notes. For the background, Audrey decoupaged
Vintage Dictionary Pages to the book using a mixture of liquid glue and white paint. The book was then spritzed with spray inks and decorated with a vintage flower fairy graphic image, a tree cardstock sticker, and
Steampunk Victoriana Rubbings . A little more white paint and a
White Scalloped Tag with a butterfly rub-on finish things off. To see more photos, including the back of her journal, please visit Audrey's
blog.

Kim created a little "wish list" journal for her son using products from
The Kraft Outlet and a Cinch binding machine. Inside the notebook, a mix of
Brown Kraft,
Light Kraft, and
Buff Ivory cardstock were used to cover large pieces of sturdy
chipboard. Each section is divided with a little pocket and a removable tag topped off with
twill tape - perfect for tucking away little pictures and notes.Kim also decorated the inside of this journal with
vintage dictionary pages to complete the look. To take a look inside this journal, be sure to
visit Kim's blog for photos and ideas.

Jennifer was inspired by The Wizard of Oz for this week's challenge and made this card using a
light kraft card base,
film strip ribbon, and raffia which was inspired from the straw coming out of Scarecrow (
similar raffia is available from the
Kraft Outlet.) She fussy cut Scarecrow from some fun Graphic 45 papers and clipped him onto the raffia using a colorful
mini clothespin! Head over to
her blog for more!

I'm such a big movie fan. Love this challenge. Just linked up. :)
Computer problems and a hectic week put me behind. I just missed the linky deadline, but I wanted to share my card here anyway. You can view it at http://magicdelights.blogspot.com/2011/08/once-upon-midnight.html
