Something Grand Challenge Trigger with Debbie Carriere

Debbie Carriere
Debbie decided to create an easel card in response to the “Something Grand” challenge.  She started by creating a shaped easel card base out of Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock.  A pieced and stitched patterned paper panel was popped up on foam tape on the card front.  Two Tim Holtz Journaling Tickets are layered at an angle with a “grand” sentiment stamped on one.  Debbie embellished the card front with a trio of pretty rolled flowers, flourishes die cut from Light Kraft Cover Weight cardstock, and some buttons.  For the inside of the easel card, she started with a base of Light Kraft Cover Weight cardstock layered with a piece of patterned paper and a scallop border.  Some stitching, another rolled flower, and some ruffled natural twill tape finish the inside off.  For more information and a photo tutorial showing how Debbie created her easel card base, visit her blog.
