Hello fellow crafters. My name is Angi Barrs and I  live in "Terrific Texas". I wear many hats in my family. Besides crafting, I am a mom of 2 wonderful daughters, I teach Junior High School, and I am a big supporter of Autism Awareness programs. I am also a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Oohrah! I make a variety of crafts from cards, to layouts, to altered projects. One of my faves is kraft. It's a beautiful natural material that goes great with any type of project.  I'm also a HUGE Fan of recycling and kraft is a great resource to use for this as well. I'm so excited to be here at The Kraft Journal. I'm a big fan of the blog and storeYou can also check me out at my blog.

Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Banners or Border Punches"

Kim Duran
Kim used both a border punch and banners for our challenge this week. Using Light Kraft Cardstock and layers of patterned paper with an autumn color theme, she created an all occasion greeting card. To create the banner, Kim added patterned paper onto Chipboard Flag Pieces, tied it with Brown Kraft Baker's Twine and held it together with Tiny Colored Wooden Clothespins

Tracy MacDonald
Tracy used a card base is Brown Kraft cardstock matted with some red Bazzill and Buff Ivory cardstock.  The gingerbread  man is matted on more Brown Kraft and Buff Ivory and he was printed out on some Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock.  He has some puff paint icing and buttons tied with Earthy Hemp Cord.  The banner was created with Jenni Bowlin chipboard flag pieces covered in Buff Ivory strung on Red Baker's Twine.

Jennifer Cuthbertson
Jennifer created this card for a friend who recently lost her grandfather and chose to use a border punch on the bottom edge of the buff ivory panel. The panel was stamped with a text background stamp and the edges were distressed with ink. The card base is light kraft. The flower image and sentiment were stamped on a page torn from a small journal. The card was finished with film strip ribbon and some similar hemp cord. Head over to her blog for more information!

  1. Thanks for the wonderful challenge. Entered my Autumn Thanks card in which I used Kraft cardstock for front of turkey.
