Kraft Outlet Guest Designer Laurel Seabrook

Created by Guest Designer Laurel Seabrook
This is Laurel Seabrook's final post this month as our Guest Designer here at The Kraft Journal.  Laurel says, "I have enjoyed my month and can 't believe it has come to an end so quickly.  I will not be far though, I love playing along with the challenges here!".  And we would like to sincerely thank her for joining us these past weeks by creating such inspiring projects with products from Kraft Outlet!

For today's challenge Laurel used a Square Kraft Pillow Box, covered it with patterned paper and a piece of an old crochet that she picked up at a garage sale.  She then made a tag and used a Round Hole Reinforcement to finish off the punched hole.  Finally, she tied the tag on using some Hemp Cording.  Inside the box is some handmade bars of soap, which she thought would make a nice little thank you gift.

Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Farm Fresh" Challenge

Tracy MacDonald

Tracy used a great digi stamp of strawberries colored with Copics.  The card base is a 3 7/8" square of Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock.  She then punched a 5" square piece of the same with a MS punch around the page set and attached that to the card base.  Next she added some designer paper and encircled it with Dark Jewel Hemp Cord.  The image is matted with Brown Kraft.  A bow of 7 Gypsies Savannah Seam Binding and some buttons tied with Hang Tag String finish the card.

Jennifer Cuthbertson
Jennifer created these "farm fresh" tags using some farm-themed journaling cards atop large shipping tags! Other goodies on these tags include paper tape, seam binding, baker's twine, a mini clothespin, chipboard bottle caps, hemp cord, vintage dictionary pages, and ruler ribbon, all available at The Kraft Outlet! Head over to her blog for more information!

Debbie Carriere
For this week's Farm Fresh Challenge, Debbie Carriere created this "sweet" little tag.  Her tag base is the largest tag from the Designer's Special Natural Tag Assortment.  She embellished the tag with berry themed patterned paper, a border die cut from Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock, and a punny sentiment stamped on Light Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock.  All pieces were sponged with Antique Linen distress ink.  Debbie added a Tim Holtz Reinforcer Sticker to the tag's hole before adorning with ribbon and a button tied on with Brown Baker's Twine.  She also embellished a metal rimmed circle tag from the Natural Tag Assortment and added as a charm to the large tag.  Be sure to stop by Debbie's blog for some more details.

  2. Wonderful DT creations. Was not sure what Farm Fresh meant exactly so I hope my Daisies & Butterfly creation qualifies since both can be found on a farm and I used green Kraft cardstock to represent the grass as one of the card layers.
