Kraft Outlet Guest Designer Laurel Seabrook

Created by Guest Designer Laurel Seabrook

Laurel told us that her ultimate "fabulous find" is twine and that she uses it on pretty much everything she makes.  For this card, Laurel used some of the Earthy Hemp Cord on her tag along with another more recent fabulous find ofhers, the Round Hole Reinforcement Brown Kraft Label sheet, because she loves how they just finish off the tag!  The tag is inside a Card Sleeve Envelope.  On the back of the tag she plans to adhere a Starbuck's Gift Card.

Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Fantastic Finds" Challenge

Tracy MacDonald
Tracy raided her crafty supplies and pulled out several of her favorites for this card.  Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock forms the base of the card as well as the sentiment, and punched flowers.  It also forms the top layer of the hinge flaps.  Tracy also cut two layers of chipboard hinges and glued all three together for a thicker raised look.  The focal image of her card was stamped on a Large Kraft Shipping tag and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  Embellishments include 7 Gypsies Gypsy Market and Victoria seam binding and button flower centers tied with Hang Tag String.
Jennifer Cuthbertson
Jennifer's "fantastic find" this week is this super 5x7 blank journal which she found infinitely alterable! She covered it with a large bingo card adhered with paper tape and garnished the journal with some hemp cord, bingo stickers, and a handmade felt flower. The coordinating bookmark was made from a shipping tag covered with a vintage dictionary page, bingo stickers, and some ruler ribbon. Head over to her blog for a complete supply list.

Debbie Marcinkiewicz
For today's 'Fantastic Finds' challenge, Debbie used a piece of vintage lace trim that she found on an antiquing trip!  This gorgeous trim measures 3 1/2" wide and is so beautiful!  First, Deb started with a cardstock base of Buff Ivory.  On top of that, am embossed layer of Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock was added.  Next some more pretty lace trim was added along with a row of yummy buttons!  For the nosegay, Debbie made a sweet little puff with some aqua tulle.  A lovely fabric bloom was adhered along with a couple of stamped angel wings, another button, jingle bells tied on with Red Baker's Twine and the sentiment was stamped onto a painted Chipboard Flag Piece and then attached to the nosegay with a Memo Pin.  You can view a close-up photo of this card at Simple Treasures.
