Kraft Outlet Guest Designer Lynn Darda

My name is Lynn Darda and during the day I teach elementary art. At night, I can usually be found in my basement studio creating with stamps and paper. I started scrapbooking about 20 years ago. About a year ago I started a blog, From My Bungalow, and I have had so much fun participating in challenges and submitting some projects for publications. I even won the PaperCrafts Magazine "Stamping Royalty" Contest this year. When I was participating in a blog hop for "Stamping Royalty" I randomly visited commenters blogs and that's how I found The Kraft Journal. I am usually drawn to vintage-inspired papers and accents that go so well with The Kraft Outlet products, from Kraft cardstock to tags and twine, I love it all!
For the "Use Your Stash" challenge, Lynn altered some of the mini-journals available at The Kraft Outlet. Altering these Kraft journals is a breeze because you can stamp right on them or adhere journal cards and those leftover little bits and pieces you have in your stash.  These journals are small enough to fit in your purse or bookbag, very handy when you want to record a thought or inspiration.  They are just the right size to tuck in a gift card too if you want to give one as a gift.

Lynn Darda
For these projects Lynn used a #152 Small Natural Smooth Journal and a  #526 Small Natural Crinkle Journal along with 7 Gypsies "Naked Chemistry" labels, and Kraft Baker's Twine.  Journaling cards are from 6 x 6 Simple Stories: Documented line.  To see more of Lynn's creations you can visit her blog From My Bungalow.

Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Use Your Stash" Challenge

Dawn Burnworth
Dawn Burnworth created this vintage looking card for the Use Your Stash challenge this week.  She stamped with ink and embossed her images onto Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock.  The main card base was created with the Brown Kraft  Cover Weight Cardstock.  She created two little flowers with a flower die and attached to her main image.  The flower die, stamp and pins are all from her "stash".
Tracy MacDonald
Tracy created a tag pocket card using a base of Light Kraft Cover Weight cardstock.  She also used a base of Buff Ivory Cover Weight cardstock for her pull out tag and decorative edging.  Her sentiment was printed out on more Light Kraft and buttons tied with Hang Tag String were added to either end.  Tracy created a balloon embellishment to go with her birthday theme by coloring three White Round Metal Edge Tags with Copic markers and added punched stars.  The tag strings were tied together with several length of Red Baker's Twine.

Dorcas Perkins
Dorcas created this pretty card starting with a leftover section (3 inches x11inches~ scored in half ) of  Brown Kraft Coverweight Cardstock and then layered it with some pretty scraps of decorative paper and sewed them all together. The stamp was colored with pencils on Lunch Bag Kraft and mounted. A wrapping of Pink Bakers Twine and a button added the finishing touch.

Debbie Marcinkiewicz

For today's 'Use Your Stash' challenge, Debbie began with a base of Lunch Bag Kraft Card Stock.  On top of that she layered a piece of Buff Ivory Card Stock and some patterned papers and stickers from Crate.  A snipett of a paper doilie was added and Debbie machine stitched around the entire card base.  Next Deb added a couple of turns of Dark Green Baker's Twine and tied it in a pretty little bow.  A Metal Hinge Clip was added to the top right corner of the card base for balance.  Debbie adhered a sweet little patterned paper pinwheel to the center of the card.  Lastly, Debbie stamped a sentiment onto a Small Kraft Shipping Tag, tied some Victoria Seam Binding around the hole punch and adhered this to the bottom of the card base.  You can view additional pictures of this card at Simple Treasures.

  3. Fabulous DT makes. I love Kraft but have not found anyone with your range here in UK. Any ideas how much shipping costs? Often it is more than the purchase. Perhaps I could sell some on my blog. I don't know just love some of the ones you sell. Vee xx (Scotland, UK)
