Kraft Outlet Guest Designer Lynn Darda
We would like to sincerely thank Lynn Darda for joining us this past April as a Guest Designer for Kraft Outlet and The Kraft Journal. Her work has been an real inspiration to both the readers of our blog and our valued patrons of Kraft Outlet. This week's challenge is to use any sketch. Lynn chose this sketch from H2H Challenge blog.

Lynn usually uses Kraft Outlet's Brown Kraft cardstock for the card base but she wanted more of a contrast for the Kraft tag so she used the Buff Ivory Cover Weight Cardstock. Other Kraft Outlet supplies include Kraft shipping tag, Brown Kraft Coverweight Cardstock (sentiment mat), Jenni Bowlin Identify Quilted Stickers, Kraft Baker's Twine and Natural Tying Twill. All other supplies are from Close To My Heart: "Bee Happy" stamp set, Paradise Paper Flowers, Mini-Medley Accents: Pacifica Pemberley Paper Pack Many of the designers from The Kraft Journal inspired Lynn to try coloring on Kraft with colored pencils. You can see more of Lynn's work at From My Bungalow. Lynn would like to thank the folks at The Kraft Journal for letting her be their guest designer for April. Happy Kraft-ing!

For today's 'Use Any Sketch' challenge, Debbie created her card based on the current inspiration photo layout at CASE Study. Deb began this card with a layer of Brown Kraft Card Stock as the base, layered with a piece of white card stock and next layered with another piece of Brown Kraft Card Stock which Debbie embossed and inked to create definition and corner rounded all card stock pieces. Next, Debbie layered rows of Lille Paper Tape onto a scrap piece of Brown Kraft Card Stock to create the tag shape - snipping the bottom ends into bunny ears. A Yellow Library Card was stamped in a pink floral pattern on the left side, a sentiment was stamped on the top right corner and machine sewing was added for more dimension. A Hinge Clip was painted with creme paint and added to the Yellow Library Card and a sweet pink satin bloom was adhered under the clip. Lastly, Debbie created a pretty little floral embellishment with a paper doilie, a couple piece of chipboard pieces, a tiny butterfly die cut from a snipett of Brown Kraft Card Stock and layered with a Tiny Bottle Cap, button and twine. Please visit Simple Treasures for additional pictures of Debbie's card.
