Watch Us Wednesday with Debbie Marcinkiewicz: Treat Bag Tutorial

Debbie Marcinkiewicz

For today's tutorial project, Debbie is going to show us how to make a darling and {sweet} treat bag using one of the Kraft Coffee Bags from The Kraft Outlet Shop!!

You will need one Kraft Coffee Bag and one 4 oz. glass canning jar for each treat you want to create.

Cut out a 'window' on the front of the Kraft Coffee Bag by placing a die of your choice on the INSIDE of the bag -- cutting side UP.  It will help with placement to hold the bag with die inside up to a light source.  Create a clear plastic window with a piece of transparency film and double sided tape - this will protect the goodie inside and prevent anything from spilling out.

Decorate the outside of your goodie bag as desired ... here Debbie stamped a sentiment on a Scalloped Grungy Prim Tag and used a Hinge Clip to hold the patterned paper scalloped circle onto the top of the Kraft Coffee Bag for easy access to the goodies inside.

Debbie baked a cupcake in a canning jar to insert inside her goodie bag!  The Kraft Coffee Bag is laminated with clear plastic inside, making it the perfect holder for hand baked treats!   Deb created a sweet little party flag using some Pink and Green Baker's Twine along with a Banner Chipboard Piece and a Black Banner Sticker.

Insert your goodie treat inside the decorated bag ...

... and enjoy!  Please visit Simple Treasures for more inspiration from Debbie and don't forget that you still have plenty of time to join our current challenge. Just visit the Current Challenge link located in the upper right of our sidebar for all the details and to link up your entry.
