Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Make Me Smile" Challenge

Dorcas Perkins
Dorcas created this funny "some things just stink" card using some scraps of cardstock matted with buff coverweight cardstock. She colored the image with pecils on kraft and wrapped it up with a scrap of striped paper, a buff tag and pink bakers twine.

Lynn Darda
The "Make Me Smile" Challenge inspired Lynn to create a Kraft mini-album using Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock.  To create the album Lynn cut the 8 1/2 x 11 inch cardstock down the center vertically at 4 1/2.  Then she folded each piece in half and attached them back to back accordion style.  Lynn covered the front with designer papers and coordinating stickers, then tied it off with some Twill Tying Tape in white.  The inside is filled with more Kraft Outlet goodies, like the mini-clothespin and several stained grungy tags.  For a closer look you can visit Lynn's blog My MW Creations.
Debbie Marcinkiewicz

For today's 'Make Me Smile' challenge, Debbie began with a base of Lunch Bag Kraft Card Stock.  Next she added a pretty Post Card with inked edges and bit of machine zig-zag stitching.  A paper doilie, scalloped card stock border and a length of seam binding were added on top of the Post Card.  Debbie created a pretty little nosegay by die cutting petal shapes from some Vintage Dictionary Pages and scrumpling them up.  She added a Mini Bottle Cap for the center of the flower along with a pearl, made a couple of leaves out of C-Flute Kraft Tiles and added a seam binding bow.  Lastly, Debbie stamped a sweet little doll image and adhered a pennant flag in her hand made from a Banner Chipboard piece and a Black Banner Sticker.  Please visit Simple Treasures for more pictures of Debbie's card.
