Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Red, White and Blue" Challenge

Tracy MacDonald
Tracy started her card with a base of Light Kraft Cover Weight cardstock.  Blue Bazzill and some patriotic papers create the background for the image.  There are a few other touches of the Light kraft sprinkled about the card.  The stars were double cut from chipboard, layered, gessoed, and covered with Crackle Paint.  After they dried they were sponged with some Weathered Wood Distress ink to help them match the paper.  Dark Jewel Hemp cord is wrapped around each of the stars and across the center of the card is tied  some Natural Hemp cord.  The buttons are "stitched' with Hang Tag String.

Dorcas Perkins
Dorcas created this heartwarming card with many layers of decorative paper stitched together as a background for her focal image which was colored on kraft. Two photo anchors secure the image and add interest. A journalling ticket stub and small tag threaded with blue bakers twine complete the project.

Debbie Marcinkiewicz
For today's 'Red, White & Blue' challenge, Debbie made a sweet little 3-D house!  The base of the house is a 4" x 4" Stretched Burlap Frame and the front door is a piece of  Mini Canvas Rectangle folded in half.  The doorknob is a red button threaded with some Red Baker's Twine.  To make the roof, Debbie lined a piece of Precut Chipboard with some Lille Patterned Gaffner Tape and then cut it into a triangle shape using a scalloped square die.  Deb edged the roof with some Blue - Victoria Seam Binding and then wrapped some more Red Baker's Twine around the base of the roof.  A Flag Banner Sticker was affixed to a Flag Banner Chipboard and adhered for the chimney.  The windows are made from two 1" square pieces of Chalk Board Stock Paper and then Debbie added shutters cut from C-Flute Corrugated Kraft Paper, inked with paint to create a shabby look!  The addition of some lace for curtains and an adorable garden flag image stamped onto a snipett of  Buff Ivory Card Stock complete this sweet design!  Please visit Simple Treasures for additional pictures of Debbie's project.
