Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Rock-a-bye Baby" Challenge

Tracy MacDonald
Tracy's card for this week's challenge was started with a base of Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock layered with a mat of Buff Ivory Cover Weight cardstock and some designer papers.  She added a small triangle of E-Flute Corrugated Kraft paper painted with some Crackle paint to the corner of her image.  Tabs of Natural Twill Tape and brads were added to one of the decorative panels and she wrapped the card twice in Green Baker's Twine, once over a strip of Canvas Fringe Ribbon.

Dorcas Perkins
Dorcas chose a clean and simple layout for this sweet baby card. The base layer is Buff Cover weight Cardstock sewed onto the pink card. Two strips of decorative paper grace the edge as well as orange and yellow bakers twine, knotted. The image is colored with pencils on kraft and sewed onto more layers of cardstock. The image is raised with dimensional sticky pads.

Lynn Darda

Lynn created this baby door hanger by covering a Chipboard Base with patterned paper. These bases are nice and sturdy, yet light and easy to work with.  Lynn tied some Canvas Fringe Ribbon around the covered chipboard. Lynn stamped an image on a small Kraft tag and colored it with colored pencils, adhering it over the ribbon.  The hanger was created by tying knots in Natural Twill Tape and attaching with Tiny Clothespins.  A button and flower top off the embellishments on this little baby door hanger.  For more details you can check out Lynn's blog, From My Bungalow.

  1. Cute baby creations. Was inspired to create not one but two baby creations. First one is a Baby Girl Bootie Shaped Gift Bag in which I used americana Kraft off-white cardstock for my tag. Second is a Baby Girl Bottle Shaped Card in which I used americana Kraft off-white cardstock for a layer on the bottle.
