Watch Us Wednesday With Debbie Marcinkiewicz: Baby Gift Banner Tutorial

For this week's 'Baby' challenge, Debbie is going to share how to create a sweet little banner for a baby's gift.  This banner is small enough to fit into a padded envelope if it needs to travel across the miles, but large enough to be displayed in baby's room hanging across the diaper holder, a picture frame or on baby's door!

Supplies from The Kraft Outlet:

Other supplies:
Paper doilie
Satin flowers
Pom-pom trim
Lace doilie
Vintage safety pin
Pearl
Alpha dies

1st pennant:  cut the letter 'b' from a piece of C-flute Corrugated Kraft Paper.  Wrap several twists of Pink Baker's Twine into a looped bow.  Glue letter, baker's twine bow, two stick pins and satin flower centered on pennant.  Adhere pink pom-pom trim at top along with two clothes pins.

2nd pennant:  cut the letter 'a' from a piece of Yellow Library Card.  Twist a snipett of Ruler Twill Tape into a bow.  Adhere paper doilie, letter, twill tape and satin flower centered on pennant.  Adhere pink pom-pom trim at top along with two clothes pins.

3rd pennant:  cut the letter 'b' from a piece of Adhesive Cork Sheet.  Glue lace doilie, letter and pearl centered on pennant.  Attach metal hinge clip on upper left side.  Adhere pink pom-pom trim at top along with two clothes pins.

4th pennant:  cut the letter 'y' from a piece of Vintage Dictionary Page that is glued on top of a piece of Lunch Bag Kraft Card Stock.  Glue chipboard button, letter, snipett of lace trim, satin flower centered on pennant.  Make a bow with seam binding and adhere to chipboard button; glue on safety pin.  Adhere pink pom-pom trim at top along with two clothes pins.

Make a clothes line from the Hemp Cording with loops at end end and glue onto the backs of each pennant, spacing out evenly along the cording.

Enjoy :)  Please visit Debbie's blog at Simple Treasures for more tips and ideas!
