Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Autumn Colors" Challenge

Becky Garrison

It's almost autumn, and after this long, hot summer, most of us are ready for the cooler temps and rich colors of autumn.  For the 'Autumn Colors' challenge, designer Becky Garrison created a pretty autumn themed birthday card.  For the card base Becky used the 'Brown Kraft Cover Weight Card Stock', the canvas leaves are cut from the 'Mini Canvas Rectangles' and the corrugated cardboard leaf is cut from a scrap of the 'C-Flute Corrugated Kraft Paper'.  The burlap 'maple leaf' was cut from a scrap of burlap fabric.  For more information about this project, please check out Becky's blog 'Becky Garrison Paper Crafts'.

Tracy MacDonald
Tracy created a fun fall themed card using a base of Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock and panels of designer paper matted on Buff Ivory Cover Weight cardstock.  For the center image panel she cut a base of both Brown Kraft and chipboard to layer under her image.  The sentiment was also cut from Brown Kraft.  A piece of Natural Twill Tape was wrapped around the panel and then a separate piece was tied in a knot around it.  The two corner pieces were cut from E-Flute Corrugated Kraft paper.

Debbie Marcinkiewicz
For today's 'Autumn Colors' challenge, Debbie made a thank you tag!  She began her design with a base of Lunch Bag Kraft Card Stock to which she inked the edges and layered a Post Card Tag on top.  Next Debbie created a paper ruffle by layering a length of Venice Gaffer Tape onto a 1" strip of Buff Ivory Card Stock and then adhering it onto the base with double-sided sticky tape and machine sewing along the top edge of the ruffle to make it secure.  Debbie die cut a heart shape from a piece of C-Flute Kraft Paper, inked the front to create a time-worn look and tied a couple of lengths of Orange and Brown Baker's Twine around the middle of the heart.  Deb adhered the heart to the tag base and attached a stamped sentiment from the Paper Sweeties - You Make Me Smile set onto a piece of Buff Ivory Card Stock and then attached it to the heart die cut with an adorable little Tiny Colored Wooden Clothespin.  Lastly, Debbie created a pretty nosegay with an orange glittered flower from Prima, a couple of leaves cut from Canvas, two Antique Stick Pins and some pretty Adelaide Seam Binding.  A snipett of Canvas Fringe Ribbon was tied onto the punched circle for the tag pull.  Please visit Debbie's blog, Simple Treasures, to see more pictures of this Autumn colored tag!
Tammy Hobbs

For today’s Autumn Color challenge, Tammy thought this challenge was the perfect time to get a head start on Thanksgiving Cards! J She started this card by using Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock cutting a piece of fluted corrugated Kraft cardstock which has been painted with white acrylic paint and adding to the Lunch Bag Kraft card base. Next Tammy die-cut a piece of pumpkin orange cardstock using her lacy oval nestability to frame the beautiful fall print patterned paper which was cut using a standard oval nestability to serve as the focal point for the golden leaves and paper pieced pumpkin. Using Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock, Tammy hand-cut a banner for her Happy Thanksgiving sentiment. For a finishing touch, Tammy embellished her card with buttons, a brown gingham ribbon and twine bow. Please visit Tammy's blog Creating Somewhere Under The Sun for more details and pictures.
