Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Inside and Out" Challenge

Jan Del Bone

Jan's exterior began as a Brown Kraft Note Card envelope.  After sealing the envelope, she cut the short side down, punched a half circle and turned it into a pocket for her tag.  She punched some design paper, and added it to the "pocket", along with silk ribbon, and a button attached with some Earthy Hemp Cord.  Jan completed the exterior with a mounted Seasonal Salvaged Sticker,  a cute Tiny Colored Wooden Clothespin, and some ink.  The tag began life as a Large Manila Shipping Tag backed with some design paper, and heavily inked.  Jan included some tape, a journaling card, some fiber and topped it with a heavily embossed grungy skull.  She added some Savannah seam binding at the top, along with more Earthy Hemp Cord.  She encased the "poison" in tape, and added an eyelet, along with a cute brad to finish the tag.

For the Inside & Out Challenge, Tammy started with an adorable image from Paper Smooches stamps which she paper pieced with Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock and patterned paper. The darling fox was layered on some patterned paper and a die-cut snowflake also made of the Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock then placed on some pretty snowflake patterned paper. She used a Chipboard Button embellished with some Brown Kraft Baker's Twine. Finishing touches for the outside of the card include painted embossed Holly Leaves, brown satin ribbon and a sentiment.  Now for the inside, Tammy used some leftover snippets from the patterned paper on the front to create a panel on the top and bottom.  She added a die-cut ornament and stamped a sentiment from Paper Smooches Joyful Greetings sentiment set. Debbie Marcinkiewicz

For today's 'Inside and Out' challenge Debbie created a sweet Halloween pocket - complete with a spooky pull-out tag!  To begin, Deb cut two pieces of Lunch Bag Kraft Card Stock 3 3/4"x 3 3/4", inked the edges and machine sewed them together with a zig-zag stich - leaving the top open to insert the tag.  Next, Debbie added a rouched ruffle using some Canvas Fringe.  Then some delicious Black Baker's Twine was wrapped around the rouched ruffle, a Bottle Cap, two Pewter Stick Pins, a tag stamped from the Little Wishes and Too Cute To Spook stamp sets onto a X-Small Grungy Prim Tag and a sweet Black Wooden Clothes Pin were adhered on top of the ruffle.  Debbie added five Memo Quilted Stickers on the right side of her pocket and then adhered a glittered pumpkin sticker.  The last step in completing this sweet pocket was to stamp a sentiment from the Too Cute To Spook set and add some silver rhinestones!

For the inside portion of Deb's project, a pull-out tag was created using a Small Kraft Shipping Tag, inking the edges and attaching a piece of Black Twill Tape to the top.  A sentiment was stamped from the Best Witches stamp set and then a length of Natural Hemp Cord was tied around the middle of the tag.  A snipett of Washi tape was added and onto that, Deb layered two Flag Banner Numbers Stickers, some more silver rhinestones and a sweet silver jingle bell!  Please visit Debbie's blog, Simple Treasures, to see additional pictures of her project!
