Make It Monday with Kraft Outlet: Backlink Your Favorite Project of 2012 Challenge

Welcome to Make It Monday with Kraft Outlet.  Instead of making a new project this week, we want you to choose your ONE FAVORITE project (created in 2012) for this week's "Favorite Project of 2012",  and link it up at the bottom of this post. Remember that to qualify for prizes and enter your project, you must have used Kraft cardstock or products available for purchase at Kraft Outlet. You have until 6:00 p.m., (Eastern Time), Sunday December 23 to backlink your ONE favorite project from 2012.   Please only ONE entry per person, additional entries after your first will be deleted.

All of our followers who participant in our challenges this month have a chance to be featured on our "Feature Me Fridays" posts as well as be entered to win a $15.00 Kraft Outlet Store Voucher!  The more challenges you enter this month, the more chances you have to win!

Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Favorite Project of 2012" Challenge

Jan Del Bone

This was Jan's favorite project for The Kraft Journal in 2012.  She loved the contrast between the kraft and the stark white of the lace, ribbon, and embossing.
Plus, it had her favorite, a pocket for a tag !!

Jan began with Kraft Blank Note Cards , and added design paper from the Kraft & Black Cardstock Pad atop the lace.  She adhered a pocket, some metal bling, a wooden button and some jewelry cording, along with a sentiment.  Inside the secret pocket is a Small Kraft Shipping Tag, with a pull made from Adelaide Seam Binding, a Definitions Rubbing, and some coarse embossing powder. Merry Merry from Jan, at chai tea 'n me !

Tammy Hobbs

For today’s Favorite Project challenge of 2012, Tammy  had a hard time narrowing it down to one, so she went with her first Design Team Post from the Shape It Up Challenge.  Tammy started this card by using an apple template with a Buff Ivory Cardstock base and pieced the apple, stem and leaf with patterned paper, and Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock which has been punched to resemble a Caramel Apple. Tammy then used a distress tool for the card's edge and added some vintage ink to further complete the distress look. She then stamped a whimsical sentimen“school days” to the upper left portion of the apple. For a finishing touch, Tammy embellished her apple card with some red buttons and twine. Tammy decided to link up other favorites of hers from 2012 on her blog Creating Somewhere Under The Sun, so be sure to visit her to learn more about this card and a few others she featured here at The Kraft Journal.

Debbie Marcinkiewicz
For today's 'Favorite Project of 2012' Debbie is re-sharing her very FIRST project ever created for The Kraft Outlet Shop!  First, Deb adhered some pretty patterned papers with a machine sewn zig-zag stitch to a piece of Lunch Bag Kraft Card Stock for the base of her card.  Next, she sewed a snipett of Ruler Twill Ribbon to a Card Sleeve Envelope, inked the edges with cream paint and adhered to the card base.  Next, Deb stamped the word 'friend' on a piece of Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock and tied it around the stamped dress form image with Red Baker's Twine.  Lastly, Debbie stamped a couple more images onto some Buff Ivory Cardstock, die cut them and adhered one to the front of the Card Sleeve Envelope and slipped one inside the envelope -- added a piece of tea-stained twill tape as the pull.  The addition of a pretty blossom, a couple Garnet Stick Pins and a pretty sparkler complete Debbie's design!

Please visit Deb's blog, Simple Treasures, to see additional pictures of today's project.
