Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Use Your Scraps" Challenge
| Jan Del Bone |
Jan had a lot of scraps to choose from ! Her card began with a brown Kraft Blank Note Card. She layered some design paper on top, and added a little pocket, attached with Washi tape - tape measure and staples. The three tickets, from the Adage Ticket book were inked and attached, one with a Hinge Clip. The sentiment was included in the Ephemera labels and inserted into an Antique Silver Label holder. The card was finished with a wrap of Earthy Hemp Cord and a metal token. Stop by chai tea 'n me and say hello !

We all have "scraps" lying around our craft areas, right? Well, Design Team Member Karen Letchworth sure does! Several patterned papers that were left from another project, and a few supplies from The Kraft Outlet, and Karen was on her way! She started with a Lunch Bag Kraft Notecard and added some scraps of patterned paper that she machine stitched together to make a "quilt" of sorts. Karen added some Red, Green and Light Green Baker's Twine, some snippings of Ruler Twill Tape, and tucked in two Tim Holtz Memo Pins to give this "scrappy" card a homespun feel. You can read more about this creation on Karen's Blog.

For today's 'Use Your Scraps' challenge, Debbie created a tag beginning with a Post Card Tag base which she inked the edges to create a time-worn look. Next Debbie added four rows of Lille Decorative Tape and a row of machine zig-zag stitching. Debbie die cut a scalloped heart shape using a scrap of Lunch Bag Kraft Card Stock, inking the edges. Onto that she layered a scrap of blue sheet music paper. Deb outlined the heart shape with hot pink buttons and then adhered iridescent mica flakes on them for some sparkle. Debbie die cut a flower and leaves out of felt scraps, adhered them to the middle of the heart and then added a button with some Green Baker's Twine tied onto it. Last, Debbie added a hot ink organza bow onto which she layered a Bottle Cap, resin flower and two Pewter Stick Pins. A scrap piece of Natural Twill Tape was tied onto the top of the tag and sentiments were added -- the 'Love you much' sentiment was stamped onto a X-Small Grung Prim Tag using the So Sweet of You stamp set and the 'XOXO' sentiment was stamped using the You Make Me Smile stamp set. Please visit Debbie's blog, Simple Treasures, for additional pictures of this scrappy tag!
