Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Seeing Red" Challenge

Tammy Hobbs
For today's "Seeing Red" challenge, Tammy started with a base of Buff Ivory Cover Weight Cardstock onto which she layered a piece of red patterned paper.  Next, Tammy added a patterned paper heart border to the bottom of her card base. A doily was dyed with some red distressed inks adding some patterned paper to the center. A Town Square Journaling Card by Jenni Bowlin was adhered to the base adding a sweet Vintage Valentine image from her stash to the center of the frame. A beautiful seam binding bow was created and embellished with a button, Natural Hemp Cord and two Garnet stick pins .  To complete this very red Valentine card, a Paper Sweeties sentiment With Love was stamped using a Jenni Bowlin Chipboard Flag paired with a coordinating Flag Banner Sticker.  Please visit, Tammy's blog, Creating Somewhere Under The Sun for additional information and photographs of today's design.

Becky Garrison
This week's theme is 'Seeing Red', appropriately enough since we will be celebrating Valentine's Day very soon.  Becky Garrison loves making tags for Valentines, because they are quick and easy and you can use up lots of scraps!  For her 'Love' tag she used the Large Kraft Shipping Tags as the base.  Then she made a crepe paper flower using a strip of crepe paper streamer about 18" to 2' long.  You simply use a needle and thread, basting in about 1/4 to 1/2" stitches along one side, about 1/4" from the edge.  As you stitch, pull the gathers together to form the ruffles.  When you reach the end, pull the thread tight and tie a large knot, with a drop of glue to make sure it holds.  Then you take a circle of card stock and glue the flower in a spiral.  Once finished, Becky used a heart cut from a scrap of patterned paper, a sentiment sticker, a bit of black and white gingham, an Epiphany Crafts brad, and more crepe paper for the 'tails' on the tag.  You can find out more about how Becky made this tag by visiting her blog, Becky Garrison Paper Crafts

Karen Letchworth
Jenni Bowlin products have been a long-time favorite for Design Team Member, Karen Letchworth.  That's one of the many reasons why Karen loves The Kraft Outlet so much.  For this week's "Seeing Red" Challenge, Karen used LOTS of the sweet Jenni Bowlin products found at The Kraft Outlet including three of the Chipboard Buttons, a Journaling Card, a Jenni Bowlin Stick Pin,  a couple different stikers from the Black Label Stickers Set and the Apocrathy Sticker Set.  Karen also used the Jenni Bowlin Flag Banner Stickers layered on the coordinating Chipboard Flag Pieces where she added a rub-on.  All three of the patterned papers used are also Jenni Bowlin.  Other little touches from The Kraft Outlet include the Tim Holtz Ruler Ribbon (which Karen plans to use the cool packaging from this item on next week's project), and some of the yummy Red and Black Baker's Twine.

I hope this helps you see why Karen loves Jenni Bowlin products so much.  There are SO many awesome Jenni Bowlin products just waiting for you at The Kraft Outlet so that you can start "Seeing Red" as well.  You can read more about this project on Karen's Blog, My Cup Runneth Over.
