Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Recycle or Re-Use" Challenge

Jan Del Bone
Jan has a large bag filled with packaging, hoping for a recycle/reuse challenge, just like today !  Jan began with her usual Kraft Blank Note Card.  She added some design paper, and a large sentiment tag.  She used some packaging from an embossing folder, and embossed it.  She fussy cut the edges, and adhered it to the front of the card with eyelets.  Through the eyelets she threaded some blue Brights Hemp Cord, and a White x-small tag stamped with hugs and kisses !  Jan would like to remind you of the supplies available at Kraft Outlet - two of which she used on this card, the Ink Blending tool, and the Bone Folding tool.  Stop by and say hello at her blog, chai tea 'n me !!

Tammy Hobbs
For today's "Recycle or Reuse"challenge, Tammy used none other than an empty toilet paper roll to form a little wall hanging or treat sack. She started by hot glueing the bottom of the tube flat (sort of like the shape of a sour cream container) then she took her pinking sheers and snipped the bottom. She then measured and cut a piece from a Vintage Dictionary Page and wrapped it around the tube and secured with adhesive. She took a length of vintage lace from her stash and wrapped it around the bottom of the flat part of the roll. She had some crepe paper that was leftover from her son's party some time ago and made a fringe trim to go in the top.  She created a handle by hot glueing a length of Black Twill Tape on the inside. A final embellishing touch was using a victorian label sticker from her stash and adding a black die-cut heart to the center.  Please visit Tammy's blog, Creating Somewhere Under The Sun, for additional pictures and information.

Karen Letchworth
The concept of week's challenge, Recycle or Reuse, is one that Design Team Member, Karen Letchworth really enjoys!  Karen loves taking things that many people would throw away, and attempting to make them into something useful.  For this project, she took an old tin pencil box and covered it in cream acrylic paint.  Then, she decorated it by die-cutting some flowers using sheets of Vintage Dictionary Pages that she inked.  She also added a strip and a bow using Natural Twill Tape, some pink and green Baker's Twine, and she also recycled/reused some pieces of left-over burlap that she had from some Burlap Rectangles to cut some leaves.
Karen tucked some matching pencils and decorated paper clips inside the box that she found in the Dollar Bin at Michaels.  For more details about this project, please stop by and visit her blog, My Cup Runneth Over.  She looks forward to seeing what you will Recycle and Reuse for your projects, and encourages everyone to check out the awesome products found at The Kraft Journal.
Debbie Marcinkiewicz
For today's 'Recycle or Reuse' challenge, Debbie used Spanish moss picked from trees while walking on a golf course in Florida and a stick from her backyard as her recycle/reuse items!  She created a white cardstock base onto which she layered black cardstock.  Debbie added a strip of Music Note Tape on the bottom and tied a couple of lengths of Red Baker's Twine around the card.  Debbie added a die cut bird cage and then decorated it with the moss nest, twig perch and a die cut bird.  To make the bird, Debbie adhered some Red Polka Dot Tape onto cardstock and then cut the bird shape.  A pretty paper bloom was added along with two Garnet Stick Pins for balance.  Last, Debbie added an I {heart} U sentiment stamped using the Fancy Monograms stamp set.  Please visit Debbie's blog to see additional pictures of today's card.
