Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Brides or Babies" Challenge

Jan chose a bridal gift card as her project this week.  She began with an envelope from the Buff Ivory Notecards.  The envelope was sealed, set on end, and the top cut off in order to form a pocket.  She embossed the envelope, and then die cut a lacy sentiment from one of the Buffy Ivory Notecards.  This was adhered to the front, along with some bling.

Inside Jan attached a Glassine Bag to some metal looking cardstock, and embossed them together.  She enclosed a gift card, along with some heart confetti.  She punched a hole in the tag, and threaded some lace through it, finishing it off with a bling slide.  The entire card was pretty simple !  Stop by Jan's blog, chai tea 'n me, and say hello !!
Lynn Darda
For this challenge Lynn piled on layers of goodies to make a "welcome home baby" card.  Lynn used the following supplies from the Kraft Outlet:  Kraft Coverweight CS, Library Card, Jenni Bowlin Magpie Hodge Podge Stickers and Mini Deck Silhouettes Playing Cards, Tim Holtz Chit Chat Stickers, Blue Polka Dot and Pink Striped Washi Tape.  Then she tied if off with the Metallic Hemp Cord.  For a few more details you can visit Lynn's blog From My Bungalow.

Jessica Esch
For this week's challenge, Jessica used the "Babies" part of the challenge for her inspiration card. She started out with a Brown Kraft Cardstock base and added some pattern paper from Carta Bella~True Friends paper pack. Then using her die cutting machine, she found and cut this cute baby buggy using more of the matching designer paper as well as the brown kraft cardstock. To give the cut some more dimension, she inked the edges using some distress ink and her Ink Blending Tool. Before gluing her mats down to the card base, Jessica added some machine stitching, and further embellished with some White Twill Tape, Natural Hemp Cord, a button from her stash as well as some bling. To finish her card up, Jessica stamped her baby sentiment, from My Creative Time~Vintage Sentiment stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. For more details on her inspiration card and additional pictures, you can visit Jessica's blog~ Chick-n-Scrap.

Karen Letchworth
Well, our Kraft Outlet friend, Karen, is sharing a tutorial with us this week; but she just couldn't resist sharing a mini album with you all that she made for this week's "Brides or Babies" Challenge.  Karen made this little baby album by tracing and cutting shapes from Chipboard Sheets.  She used several items on this mini album.  For the cover, she used a scrap of canvas from a Mini Canvas Tag.

On pages 2 and 3, she used another Canvas Tag, a Mini Kraft Merchandise Bag, a Tim Holtz Adage Ticket, touches of Earthy Hemp, some Decorative Tape and pieces of Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock for journaling mats.

Pages 4 and 5 include a Small Glassine Bag to hold a journaling card, a Tim Holtz Adage Journaling Ticket, a Tim Holtz Memo Pin, some Baker's Twine, and a row of die-cut stars cut from Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock.  There's obviously a lot going on here, and Karen would love to have you stop by her blog, My Cup Runneth Over, to read all the details and peek a couple more pictures.  Whether you make a "Bride Card or a Baby Card", we all look forward to having you play along with us this week!
