Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Pretty Papers" Challenge

Debbie Marcinkiewicz

For today's 'Pretty Papers' challenge, Debbie began with a base of Brown Kraft Cardstock onto which she layered a piece of White cardstock. Debbie layered three pieces of 'pretty' patterned papers which she cut into flag shapes on the right sides. Next Debbie stamped some pretty images from the Love stamp set, punched them out, layered them on top of colored cardstock pieces and then adhered them on top of the patterned paper flags using dimensionals. Debbie added some 3-D embellishments to make her stamped images pop: Black Baker's Twine, a Black Tiny Wooden Clothespin and Black Burlap Ribbon. Last, Debbie stamped two fancy frame images and a sentiment from the Live Laugh Love stamp set in black. Please visit Debbie's blog to view additional pictures of today's card!

Jessica Esch
For this week's inspiration for the Pretty Papers Challenge~Jessica started out with a Brown Kraft Cardstock base and added several layers of designer paper from My Mind's Eye~All is Bright paper pad. She wanted to be able to add extra texture to each of the papers so Jessica added zig zag machine stitching between each of her pretty papers.
Next using her die cutting machine, she cut 2 circles, one in the brown kraft cardstock and the other in the matching designer paper to stamp her Christmas sentiment from My Creative Time~Just For You stamp set.
To further embellished her card she added Cream Twill Tape, Red Metallic Twist Hemp Cord , some felt flowers and leaves from her stash and a gold blinged up Custom Fastener.

Jan Del Bone
Jan began her tag using a Large Manila Shipping tag. She adhered some pretty paper, and added two pockets, finishing it with stitching around the edges, and some ink. To the front she added a painted, sanded embellishment, some fiber around the body, and fiber atop the tag.

Jan added two more Small Manila Shipping Tags for the pockets. She first inked them, and then added phrases from Chit Chat Word Stickers and rub on flairs from Pretoria Fortunes. Jan used the string that came with the tags, inking them and then adding small heart charms. (If you are making your own tags, Kraft Outlet has string for them !) She popped these back into the pockets for a tag for a gift. Stop by Jan's blog, chai tea 'n me, and say Hello !!

Karen Letchworth for The Kraft Journal
Well, who doesn't LOVE some "Pretty Papers"? Karen sure does! And for this week's challenge, she dug deep into her stash and found these lovely patterned papers from Daisy D. Everything on Karen's card started with a Large Lunch Bag Kraft Notecard. After the pretty patterned papers, she attached LOTS of goodies from The Kraft Outlet including a bit of Natural Burlap Ribbon, bits of Black & White Polka Dot Washi Tape, some red and green baker's twine, and a cute little Tim Holtz Memo Pin.
You can read the complete supply list for this card, or just stop by to say hello, by visiting Karen's Blog, My Cup Runneth Over. This card was intended to show you LOTS of the awesome products available at The Kraft Outlet, and how well they work together. We look forward to seeing what YOU will create with your Kraft Outlet goodies!

  4. Hello Krafters!

It is 2pm CT and the collection is closed so I cannot link my card. :(

The text above states 6pm CT. Has the closing time changed to 6 am and the above is a typo?

    Thanks for the info!
