Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Clean and Simple" Challenge

Kristi Schurr
CAS is not Kristi's usual style, but she does like to stretch her creative legs from time to time and do something different! She created a slightly primitive take on a card for a baby boy.For her version of a CAS card, she started with a card base made from Lunch Bag Card Stock. After another layer of black card stock, she used a script paper from the Kraft And Black Card Stock pad for the third layer. She adhered a black card stock label to the front and topped it with a Mini Burlap Rectangle that is sewed around the edges. For the centerpiece of her card, Kristi made a ribbon using a die cut, Black Chevron Ribbon and an Icon Flatback metal button.  She then die cut a banner from Lunch Bag Kraft Card Stock and used Chit Chat Word Stickers to spell out the sentiment. Jessica Esch
For this week's Clean and Simple Challenge, Jessica used an adorable image she recently won from fellow DT sister Karen.
Once Jessica colored the image using her copic markers and matting it on a scalloped oval using Blackboard Stock Paper  she went about assembling her card. She started her card by using a piece of Light Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock as her card base and then adding a mat of white cardstock.  Next she layered some Blackboard Stock Paper  with the pattern paper from Fancy Pants~Wonderful Day paper pack. Then using more matching paper from the same stack she die cut 3 banners using My Creative Time's~Vintage Stitched Label Dies. Then to finish her card she added a button from her stash and threaded some white hemp from the Brights Hemp Cord pack.
