Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Sketch" Challenge

Kristi Schurr
Kristi always loves working with sketches and this week's sketch was an opportunity to take it and run! She likes to take the basic layout and then make it her own as she did here with her stylish leopard card. Using a card base made with Light Brown Cover Weight Stock, she added a black layer before adding the leopard  patterned paper so it would stand out. She added a punched border along the vertical piece for added drama and then tied a fuchsia silk ribbon bow around the piece before adhering it to the card. Kristi stamped her sentiment on Blackboard Stock paper in white ink and embossed it in white for a trendy chalkboard look. She then die cut the sentiment into a label shape and adhered it with foam dots for a raised effect.Enamel dots were added to the top for a splash of color and shine. Using Kraft Recycled Tissue Paper, Kristi folded a piece several times and  used a flower die to cut it into flower shaped layers. She poked a small hole in the center of the layers and secured them together in a layered stack with a small brad. To make the flower dimensional, Kristi fluffed and fluffed to bring the layers up over each other and give it a realistic look. She hot glued a floral button to the middle to finish it off and then attached it to the silk ribbon bow. She then added a bit of Pastel Hemp Cord, another flower and a bit of hot pink tulle for added sass! Debbie Marcinkiewicz
For today's sketch challenge, Debbie rotated the sketch on it's side for her design!  She began with a base of Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock onto which she layered a piece of  Chalkboard Stock Paper.  Next Debbie added a piece of patterned paper from the Kraft & Black Cardstock Pad in Damask and then added a cute little Halloween digital printed image.  Debbie then tied several lengths of Brights Hemp Cording around the base of the card and tied it into a bow.  She added a sweet little Metallic Lock & Key tied on with Black Baker's Twine.  Debbie created her sentiment pennant by first cutting a scalloped circle from Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock, then cutting a circle from Buff Ivory Cardstock and then stamping a sentiment onto the pennant.  Last, Debbie added two flag tails which she created by adding Damask Washi Tape to two pieces of scrap Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock and adhering onto the circle base.  Please visit Debbie's blog to view additional photos of today's card!

Jessica Esch
For this week's Sketch Challenge, Jessica made a sweet Get Well Card featuring an adorable chicken she die cut and fun punny sentiment. She started her card by using a piece of Light Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock as her card base and then adding her layers of designer papers from Recollections~Harvest Delight paper pack. Then using her Silhouette Cameo, she cut the chicken and inked the edges using her Ink Blending Tool and distress inks. Next for her embellishing, Jessica used the Chipboard Buttons covered with matching designer paper and more inking as well as 2 banner cut pieces of Natural Burlap Ribbon
