Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Button, Bow or Bangle" Challenge

For this week's button, bow or bangle challenge, Kristi made this vintage style card. She stared with a card base made from Brown Kraft Cover Weight Stock. She then added a layer of black card stock and layered on some vintage inspired papers, rounding all  corners. After wrapping a black and white gingham ribbon bow around the card, she stamped and embossed the sentiment in white on a Black Board Tag.After adding a bit of ribbon through the top hole of the tag,she rounded the corners of the tag and adhered it to the card with foam tape. Kristi then embellished the top of the tag with an assortment of flowers, buttons threaded with Pastel Hemp Cord, and sequins. Jessica Esch
With Halloween not too far away, Jessica used this week's challenge Buttons, Bows or Bangles to make a CAS pumpkin card.  Jessica started her card  using a base of the Light Kraft Cover weight Cardstock and adding a layer of textured white card stock. To give her card some more detail,  she ran her mat through her sewing machine to give it a border. Using  the My Creative Time~ All Around Halloween stamp set, Jessica took the fun sentiment, some Walnut Stain Distress Ink and "painted" the ink onto her stamp with the brush tip side of the pen.
Putting the card aside, she started on the cute pumpkin. He is a die cut from the Cottage Cuts Pumpkin Trio dies and after Jessica cut him out and chalked the edges, she stamped that adorable Peachy Keen face using the PKS~Pumpkin Faces stamp set. She then added some white gel pen to the eyes and more chalk to his cheeks. Finally to finish him off she added a green button from her stash and some Earthy Hemp Cord.

Debbie Marcinkiewicz
For today's 'Buttons, Bows or Bangles' challenge, Debbie created a set of beverage tags that can be used over and over each time you host a party!  The tags will help your party attendees know what kinds of beverages are in which serving containers.  She began with bases of large Grungy Prim Tags onto which Deb layered pieces of Black & Kraft Cardstock.  Next Debbie added Oval Kraft Labels to the middle of her tags.  Debbie tied a length of pretty Black Twill Ribbon around the centers of the tags and then layered sentiment banners printed on Buff Ivory Cardstock over the ribbon - popped up with dimensionals.  Last, for each tag Debbie added a little embellishment: for the lemonade tag, Deb created a lemon out of a yellow button, Black Baker's Twine and a Tiny Green Wooden Clothespin.
For the Sweet Tea tag, Debbie added Bottle Caps to spell out 'tea'.
For the Margarita tag, Debbie added a piece of Flair and some pretty Bright Green Hemp Cording.  Please visit Debbie's blog to view additional pictures of her beverage set up and drink tags from the party!
Tammy Hobbs
For today's Buttons, Bows or Bangles challengeTammy started with a card base of Buff Ivory Cardstock which she layered together some Halloween patterned papers.  She took a length of Black Twill Tape and wrapped it around the card front and tied off in bow adding some orange and white gingham ribbon, Orange Baker's Twine and a round sentiment tag topped with a button. She added a few buttons laced with the Orange Baker's Twine along the Black Twill Tape.  A Halloween die-cut was added which she embellished with a candy embellishment and sentiment.  A final finishing touch was adding orange and white buttons in the upper right corner laced with Natural Hemp Cord. For additional pictures and information, please visit Tammy's blog: Creating Somewhere Under The Sun.

Karen Letchworth
For this week's Buttons, Bows or Bangles Challenge, Karen Letchworth really wanted to do something creative with buttons and bows.  She started with a fun burlap bag and added several die-cut flowers made from wool felt.  The centers of the flowers are accented with vintage "Buttons" tied with lots of Natural Hemp Cord and Red Baker's Twine to make the "Bows".  Karen cut her leaves from green wool felt as well as a few burlap leaves cut from a Burlap Tag (on sale - 20% off this week) to give her project a vintage rustic look.  Since she wasn't quite sure what a "Bangle" is, Karen added a Tim Holtz Memo Pin which holds a tiny heart-shaped tag.  For more information on this project, please stop by Karen's Blog, My Cup Runneth Over, to say hello.  And don't forget to do some fun shopping this week at The Kraft Outlet.  Happy Crafting!
