Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Lace It Up" Challenge
She die cut a piece of Vintage Dictionary Paper into a label and adhered it to the middle of the card. For the card focal point, she used three butterfly stickers from the Crowded Attic Salvage Sticker pack. After attaching black lace to the bottom of her card, Kristi added a brown seam binding bow and a vintage flower button to the center. After die cutting a small index label from Blackboard Stock Paper, she fashioned a sentiment from Chit Chat Word stickers and used a Memo Pin to attach it to the bow. Lace is such a gorgeous embellishment, and this week's "Lace It Up" Challenge was super fun for Karen because she loves putting lace on her cards and projects. She started her card with one her all-time Kraft Outlet favorites - a Lunch Bag Kraft Notecard. Karen prefers to fold her cards using the Kraft Outlet Bone Folder to give them a crisp and even fold. She covered the base of her folded card with some Jenni Bowlin patterned papers and the matching Jenni Bowlin Family Tree Journalling Card (green with navy polka dots) onto which she rubbed a Happy Birthday sentiment. She "Laced It All Up" with some vintage lace from her stash, and machine stitched everything together. To embellish her card a bit, she used some additional Kraft Outlet supplies including a snippet of Tim Holtz Ruler Ribbon and a Tiny Wooden Clothespin covered in Tape Measure and Black With White Polka Dot Decorative Washi Tapes.
