Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for our "LOVE" Challenge

Kristi Schurr

For this week's 'Love' challenge, Kristi created a lovely Victorian valentine. She started with a card base made from Brown Kraft Cover Weight Card Stock. She then layered a slightly smaller patterned paper piece to the center of the card. She misted a white heart doily with gold and pink shimmer mists, allowed it to dry and then attached it to the top right corner. Kristi took a reproduction vintage Valentine card and adhered it slightly off center and angled slightly on the card front, allowing the heart doily to peek out. She embellished her card with an Adage Ticket and embellished it with heart rhinestones and  paper flowers. Kristi finished her card by adding a silk ribbon bow and heart charm to the center. Debbie Marcinkiewicz

For today's 'Love' theme challenge, Debbie create a sweet little gift box and tag - suitable for giving a sweet treat for Valentine's Day or anytime you need a pretty little packaging for a special little something!  Debbie began with a Kraft Box onto which she layered some Pink & White Polka Dot Washi Tape and another piece of Black and White Damask Washi Tape.  Next she die cut a pink glittered heart and adhered it to the top of the box.

Debbie cut two Burlap leaves and adhered them to the box, and then added a bow using Cake Crumbs and Strawberry Shortcake seam binding.  A white paper bloom was added to complete the nosegay.  Lastly, Debbie stamped the sentiment onto a Small Grungy Prim Tag using the Best Wishes stamp set from Paper Sweeties, added three Raspberry Sequins, a Black Wooden Clothespin, tied some Black Baker's Twine onto the tag and attached it to the top of the box.  Please visit Debbie's blog to view additional photos of today's project!

It's all about "Love" in this week's challenge and Anitra has created this sweet file folder card.  Starting with a Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock  She covered the front of the card with patterned paper and added some Hand Stained Rose Beige Bias Tape.  She then paired it with a Earthy Hemp Cord bow.  A paper doily was added along with a sentiment which was die cut and matted with  Blackboard Stock Paper.  A paper flower was then adhered and leaves punched out using Vintage Dictionary Paper.  Anitra finished off her card by adding some bling flourishes along with a sticker from the Black Apothecary Stickers sheet.  For more details on how Anitra created this card please stop by her blog:  Stamping While They Sleep.

Karen Letchworth

It's all about "LOVE" this week, and for Design Team Member, Karen Letchworth, this means sharing some of the sweet Kraft Outlet supplies that she LOVES!  Karen started her project with a Buff Ivory Notecard, and then made a card base from matching Buff Ivory Cardstock.  She used some patterned papers to decorate her card, and then topped them off with some of the Kraft Outlet supplies that she loves best; including the Ruler Twill Ribbon (2 yards for just $0.99) which she gathered and machine stitched to create a ribbon-like trim, some Red Baker's Twine, and a Tim Holtz Memo Pin.  Her Memo Pin holds a tiny tag that is cut from Buff Ivory Cardstock.

Next, Karen made a coordinating tag using a Grungy Prim Shipping Tag that she covered and machine stitched with the same patterned papers.  Again, she used the Ruler Twill Tape and Red Baker's Twine to embellish the tag.  Making a matching tag to go along with your hand-made cards is a lovely idea because you can easily tuck the tag inside the card to give your recipient a little "something extra", and these wonderful Shipping Tags come in multi-packs to help you save money and make gift-giving simple and affordable.  You can pick some up at The Kraft Outlet, give it a try this week, and enter our challenge to show us your creative work.  To see and read more about this set, please stop by Karen's Blog, My Cup Runneth Over to take a peek.
