Kraft Outlet DT Reveal for "Tag" Challenge

Kristi Schurr
For this week's Tag Challenge, Kristi made a Paris themed altered art tag. She began with a Buff French "Carte Postale" Postcard Shipping Tag. She then layered on a Paris themed patterned paper after distressing and inking the edges. Kristi adhered a strip of Tim Holtz Film Strip Ribbon to the bottom with thin red line tape. She fashioned her sentiment by adding some Chit Chat Word Stickers to an Adage Ticket. She then created a bow from Winter White Hand Stained Bias Tape and pink silk ribbon. She added two Clock Face Icons to the center of the bows and glued some leaves and flowers in and around the bow tails. Kristi then affixed her sentiment tag behind the bow with a Memo Pin and then glued a gold crown below it. She then added a fleur de lis accent to the top right corner and threaded more Winter White Bias Tape through the tag hole. Tammy Hobbs
For this week's "tag " challenge, Tammy decided to use her tag as an interactive piece on the front of her card. She started by adding patterned pieces to the front of her Kraft Brown Cover Weight Cardstock.   She then took a small glassine bag and stamped the front of it using a heart background stamp in pink ink to create a pocket for her decorated Brown Kraft Hang Tag.

For a decorative touch she added pieces of Notebook Grid decorative tape to the outside of the bag. She further embellished the stamped glassine bag by adding buttons laced with Pink Baker's Twine and die-cut felt flowers adding a custom fastener to the center. Lastly, she wrapped a length of Pink Baker's Twine to the top portion of the card. The Notebook Grid comes with a piece of twine, and I re-purposed it for my tag you see above. For additional pictures and a complete supply list, please visit Tammy at Creating Somewhere Under The Sun.

Anitra Tovar
This week Anitra was inspired by the graphics in the "Between Prim Friends Vol. 1", as well as the graphics in "Between Prim Friends Vol. 2".  First she created some simple tags using the "Large Kraft Shipping Tags".  She simply chose her image from the "Between Prim Friends Vol. 1 and Vol. 2" which is an instant download from The Kraft Outlet, and printed the chosen image directly onto the tag.  Next she distressed the edges with ink and threaded her favorite "Earthy Hemp Cord" through the tag.  Anitra had so much fun with these adorable images she created a card using the check book template "Crow on Boxes" in the "Between Prim Friends Vol. 1".  She printed out the image onto some "Lunch Bag Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock", and matted the image onto some "Blackboard Stock Paper".  Next she added some black chipboard letters along with some sticker letters from the "Salvage Stickers".  She then tied some "Earthy Hemp Cord" around the card and created a multi- looped bow.  To finish her card off she added a tag she made by cutting out a star graphic from "Between Prim Friends Vol. 1" which she printed out on the "Lunch Bag Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock", and tied it to the bow with a rusty bell.  For more information on how she created her projects stop by her blog Stamping While They Sleep.

Karen Letchworth
This week, Design Team Member Karen Letchworth will be sharing our Wednesday tutorial with you.  But she wanted to share a real quick tag for the "Tag Challenge" as well just to show you how quickly and easily tags can be made using the fabulous products that the Kraft Outlet offers.  For her "Tag Challenge" project, Karen simply decorated a Small Glassine Bag with some scraps of patterned papers that were sitting on her work table, a few bits of adorable Pink & White Stripe Washi Tape and a stamped image.  Using her handy dandy Bone Folder Tool, she applied a rub-on sentiment to the top of the Small Glassine Bag and then, she tucked a Grungy Prim Shipping Tag tied with Pink Baker's Twine into the Small Glassine Bag.  A very quick and easy tag project, and the Kraft Outlet makes it so much fun!  Karen hopes you will stop back on Wednesday for her Watch Us Wednesday Tag Tutorial.
