Challenge 167 - Bunnies or Lambs

Good Monday morning and welcome to Make It Monday.
We are so glad you have joined us again for another paper challenge.

This weeks challenge is
Bunnies or Lambs

Karen Letchworth

For this week's Easter-themed "Bunnies and/or Lambs" Challenge, Karen chose to make a cute little tag with an Easter Bunny that was cut from wool felt.  Karen started her project with a Blackboard Tag.  These lovely tags are perfect for projects using the chalkboard technique, and they're a great value at just $4 for a package of 25 tags.  Karen placed her wool felt bunny onto the Blackboard Tag, and secured the top with a big fluffy bow made of Vintage Winter White and  Rose Petal Cupcake Hand-Stained Bias Tape.  She also made the bunny's whiskers by cutting a few short lengths of Natural Hemp Cord.  The "Eggs 4 Sale and matching eggs" are white rub-ons that were placed onto the Blackboard stock.

Tammy Hobbs

For this week's Bunnies and Lamb's Challenge, Tammy started with a Kraft Chevron Merchandise Bag to make a cute gift bag for an Easter treat. She used both electric and hand crank cutting devices for her images today. Looks like she had fun creating this adorable Easter scene. The bag topper was created using a paper doily, flower, button laced with Pastel Hemp Cord and die-cut leaves from Brown Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock covered in Blue and White Polka Dot Washi Tape.  Please head over to Tammy's blog, Creating Somewhere Under The Sun for additional pictures and supplies used on her gift bag today.

Kristi Schurr

Kristi's bunny themed card was made with a base of Light Kraft Cover Weight Card Stock cut in half at 4.25 by 5.5 inches. She layered a blue patterned paper piece on the front, then continued layering with a bunny printed paper, scalloped border and doily. She trimmed a preprinted label from the paper pad, rounded the corners and adhered it to the center of the doily with foam tape. She created the sentiment using the Seasonal Chit Chat Word Stickers. She then embellished the label with pink and blue glittered jewels. After wrapping a piece of Hand Stained Bias Tape in Vintage Winter White around the front of the card, she tied it into a bow and added a pink paper flower to the middle. Anitra Tovar

Anitra has created a card for this week's Bunny and Lamb challenge.  She started with a Brown Kraft Note Card, and matted with some Vintage Dictionary Pages, and patterned paper. She then used a digital image she printed and off set it with some Blackboard Stock Paper.  Next she added some Hand Stained Tape in Strawberry Shortcake, which she spritz with some rose color mist for added color, and added a vintage button.  Next she tucked a file tab from the Hodge Podge Magpie sticker sheet.  Last she added a rosette with a rabbit which she punched from some patterned paper.  For more information on her project please visit her blog Stamping While They Sleep.
