Challenge #198 - Sketch Inspiration

Good Monday Morning to you and so happy you came by to share your day.

Today we have the Designer Reveal for the Kraft Journal Challenge #198 - Sketch Inspiration.
Feel free to join the challenge and use this layout as your guide and now for the Eye Candy!

Karen Letchworth
For this week's Sketch Challenge, DT Member Karen Letchworth chose to create a Christmas card.  She started with a fabulous Large Lunch Bag Kraft Note Card and added some October Afternoon embellishments as well as some of her favorite Kraft Outlet favorites.  She used a Large Grungy Prim Shipping Tag which she tied with a length of Vintage Style Red Baker's Twine.  She cut a large circle from Lunch Bag Kraft Cover Weight Card Stock and embellished that as well.  Next she added some Red With White Polka Dot Washi Tape that she ran across the bottom portion of her card.  She also added some green buttons strung with bits of Vintage Style Black Baker's Twine as well as a few other little embellishment touches.  You're very welome to stop by and visit Karen's Blog, My Cup Runneth Over, to see additional photos and read more about her project for this week's fun Sketch Challenge.

Tammy Hobbs
For this week's sketch challenge, Tammy followed the sketch closely and kept it pretty simple.  She started with a base made from Blackboard Stock Paper.  She layered her card with patterned paper and bright yellow cardstock to coordinate with the focal image. Following the sketch, she added a blue banner down the center.  She then wrapped the card with Orange Baker's Twine several times and finishing it in a bow. Lastly she added her oval focal image to the center to complete the card. If you are curious about the card she created today and would like further details and pictures, please visit Tammy's blog at Creating Somewhere Under The Sun.

For this week's sketch challenge Anitra created a bright card using some Buff/Ivory cardstock as her base.  She then adhered a floral patterned paper along with a coordinating yellow print.  To break up the busy patterns she added a piece of Brown Kraft cardstock between the two.  Next following the sketch, she added a banner cut from more patterned paper and matted with a navy cardstock.  For fun Anitra added some Tape Measure Washi Tape to the top of the banner.  For her sentiment she stamped onto more of the Buff/Ivory cardstock in coordinating ink.  Lastly Anitra tied some Hand Stained seam binding in Butter, to which she tied a simple bow.  For more information on Anitra's project please visit her blog, Stamping While They Sleep.

As always, participants in our weekly challenges have a chance to be selected as our Featured Artist and showcased on one of our "Feature Me Fridays" posts. Each month Kraft Outlet will randomly give away a $15.00 Store Voucher at!
