Anything Goes Spring - Challenge #215

Hi there and welcome  to The Kraft Journal Challenge #215 -
Anything Goes - Spring.

Did you know that Spring officially starts this week?  I think we all could use some Spring weather after a long cold Winter.  I'm ready for the trees to burst into action and for the azaleas to bloom.  So this week we want you to show us your Spring projects. Here are three wonderful examples of the beauty of Spring!

Marsha Drain
Marsha is impatient for Spring.  So here is a card to brighten someone's day even if it is dreary or rainy outside.  After coloring the digital image, she added buttons to all the flowers, using a piece of Baker's Twine in the center of each button.  The lovely Aqua seam binding is Hand Stained Bias Tape from the Kraft Outlet.  Are you ready for Spring.  Marsha and the other team members would love to see your card depicting Spring.  For more details about her card, visit her blog, Gramma's Room.

For this week's Spring Challenge, Karen decided to do something fun with a Lunch Bag Kraft No. 10 Open End Policy Envelope.  She used some cardstock and patterned papers to make a large flag, and to add a Grungy Prim Shipping Tag #2 (the smaller of the two sizes carried at the Kraft Outlet).  This can be used for journaling, or just for decoration.  Next, Karen added some fun flowers, sequins, wide lace, and a bow made from Rose Beige Hand-Stained Bias Tape and Winter White Bias Tape.  She also tucked a small scrap of Vintage Sheet Music under the Small Grungy Prim Shipping Tag.
These Lunch Bag Kraft No. 10 Open End Policy Envelopes are AWESOME for implementing into a scrapbook page because you can tuck A LOT inside of them.  They can also be used to create a mini album.  They're an item that may get overlooked, but they're really a lot of fun.  Oh, and don't forget that they cost ONLY $0.35 each!!!  For additional photos of this project, as well as a complete supply list, please stop by Karen's Blog, My Cup Runneth Over.

Tammy Hobbs
For the challenge this week - Anything Goes Spring, Tammy built her card around an image she found in the Tim Holtz Seasonal Salvage Stickers found at The Kraft Outlet. She added the image to a pastel blue die-cut she had in her stash onto which she layered on a Grungy Prim Shipping Tag.  She stamped two sweet little easter eggs onto the tag, adding a length of crochet trim at the bottom. She then created a bow from Blush Hand Stained Bias Tape adding a bow and button laced with Pastel Blue Hemp Cord.  Next she took the prepped tag and placed it on the card front that consisted of pieced patterned papers and a card base of Brown Kraft Cardstock. All that was left was for Tammy to stamp her Easter Greeting in black ink onto the card face. For additional pictures and product details, please visit Tammy's Blog: Creating Somewhere Under The Sun

Use this week's theme to inspire you to create your project and then link it up at the bottom of this post before 6:00pm (Central Time) on Sunday.
Please limit your entries two per challenge, others will be deleted.

Participants in our weekly challenges have a chance to be selected as a Featured Artist and showcased on one of our "Feature Me Fridays" posts. Also, all who participate in our challenges this month have a randomly selected chance to win a $15.00 Store Voucher from Kraft Outlet!
