Make It Monday Challenge #216 - CAS Faith

Hi there and welcome  to The Kraft Journal Challenge #216 -CAS - Faith

Faith, an easy word to say and sometimes a hard word to practice.  With Good Friday, Passover and Easter just around the corner we wanted to show you some wonderful examples for these holidays.

Design Team Member, Karen Letchworth has admitted that she struggles with CAS cards; but she gave it her best effort, nonetheless.  For this week's CAS/Easter Challenge, Karen used a Small Buff Ivory Note Card as her base.  To that, she adhered a piece of Buff Ivory Cover Weight Cardstock; and then attached a couple of patterned papers.  She ran several lengths of Pink Baker's Twine around the patterned papers.  Next, she attached a Grungy Prim Shipping Tag, and covered that with a bunny card and a piece of sweet Pink & White Striped Washi Tape.  She made a bow using Butter Hand-Stained Bias Tape and Vintage Winter White Hand-Stained Bias Tape, and then added an "Easter Joy" sentiment by using her Bone Folder Tool to place rub-on letters on a tiny tag cut from a scrap of Buff Ivory Cover Weight Cardstock that is secured with an ink-stained Tiny Wooden Clothespin.  For additional photos of her card and a complete supply list, please stop by Karen's Blog, My Cup Runneth Over.

Marsha Drain
Marsha likes Clean and Simple especially when an elegance can be achieved.  She started with a Brown Kraft card base.  The designer paper has shades of Kraft and black so she kept that color scheme throughout the card.  The image and sentiment are digital.  She cut those out with a Spellbinder die cut then sponged the edge with a distress ink before adding a black layer.  The Black and White Script Washi Tape was perfect for the script in the designer paper and also for bringing attention to the cross. Tammy Hobbs
Tammy created a CAS Easter Tag to go on some treats she created to go in a care package. For the tag, she started with a base of Brown Kraft cardstock onto which she added some pretty spring patterned paper. She stamped a Happy Easter sentiment on a banner and added it just below the cute little rabbit.  Butter Hand Stained Bias Tape was used to tie the tags to the treats.  For the treats, Tammy created the treat holder from Brown Kraft cardstock. Next she wrapped Hershey Nuggets with patterned paper and placed them in the tray that was created. Using a pretzel holder treat bag, she added the prepared tray and tied off with the Butter Hand Stained Bias Tape.  She added a double bow and button laced with Light Blue Pastel Hemp Cord
