Summer is flying by and I'm sure everyone is busy with many activities, that is what makes the Kraft Journal Challenge #232 - Take Your Pick so nice. This game is like a Chinese Take-Out Menu, you get to pick and choose what suits you. Here is the inspiration.
Now let's see what the Design Team has to offer.
Tammy always enjoys the Take Your pick challenges. Today, she used, Orange, Aqua, shell, sentiment, Beach (vibe). She started with a card base of Brown Kraft Cardstock onto which she layered a beachy nautical patterned paper. At the bottom of the paper, she added a scallop border made from orange cardstock. A length of Vintage Winter White Bias Tape was wrapped around the card front and tied off in a fussy bow embellishing with an orange button laced with Orange Baker's Twine. A shell stick pin was added for a further embellishing touch. Tammy cut a stitched journaling card from Brown Kraft Cardstock to serve as mat for her die-cut images and sentiment. For her easel card, Stephanie started with a Lunch Bag Kraft Note Card. She layered her patterned paper on a piece of Lunch Bag Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock. A Mini Polka Dot Kraft Merchandise Bag holds a tag, also made from Lunch Bag Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock, for a message or a gift card. The "hello" die cut was by stacking two diecuts cut from Lunch Bag Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock and one diecut of patterned paper. She managed to fit five of the items from the list on her card: beach, shell, aqua, sentiment and punch. For more details and additional pictures, please visit Stephanie at her blog, Steph's Scrap Happenings. Stephanie looks forward to seeing what you will make for this Pick Three Challenge.
This brings back memories. Marsha remembers times at the beach, "burying" brothers and sisters. Marsha printed this digital image on white cardstock and Brown Kraft Text paper so she could make the sand with the Kraft but also fussy cut the kids from the white paper. The star fish and shells are also fussy cut. The other items she used on the Pick list are aqua and orange. The base is her favorite Brown Kraft Cardstock.
