The Kraft Journal Challenge #233

Hello, thanks for stopping by the Kraft Journal

Todays Challenge #233 is Anything Goes - NO Cards!  We want to see your creative ability on something, anything, other than a card.  Our Design Team has done a wonderful job of using things from Kraft Outlet to showcase this challenge theme.

Marsha Drain

If you have never checked out the Coffee Bags at the Kraft Outlet, you really should.  They are 3 3/8" X 7 3/4" which make for a great size for gift giving.  Marsha used the Small Kraft Coffee Bag with a Window.  She cut two "frames" to go around the window; one out of Brown Kraft and the smaller one out of a Vintage Dictionary page.  The flower is made from the dictionary page also.  Marsha printed a digital image of a cookie and a sentiment onto a Scalloped Grungy Prim Tag and then tied on a piece if Orange Hemp Cord before attaching it to the bag with a brad.  For more details, please visit her blog, Gramma's Room.

Stephanie Wright

For this week's No Cards challenge, Stephanie chose to make a gift set of a purse-sized notebook holder and a business card wallet. Both items have a base of Buff Cover Weight Cardstock with Lunch Bag Kraft Cover Weight Cardstock used to mat the patterned paper and sentiments. All the computer generated sentiments and the business cards were printed on Buff Cover Weight Cardstock. The notebook holder is embellished with an Antique Silver Label Holder. The interior of the business card wallet uses two Lunch Bag Kraft Card Sleeve Envelopes that were covered with patterned paper to hold the business cards. For more details and additional pictures, please visit Stephanie at her blog, Steph's Scrap Happenings. She really hopes you'll play along with us this week in our No Cards challenge.

Tammy Hobbs
Tammy decorated a Kraft Outlet White Coffee Bag for today's Anything Goes NO cards challenge.  She started by taking a piece of Lunch Bag Kraft Text Paper and cutting out a banner which she embossed with a decorative folder followed by inking up the edges with distressed ink. Tammy then took a Grungy Prim Shipping Tag and stamped a sentiment down the side in black ink. She then anchored it with a piece of Decorative Washi Tape.  She added a circle border across the top. Lastly, Tammy wrapped some Brown Baker's Twine around the topped and tied in a bow. For additional details, please visit Tammy's blog: Creating Somewhere Under The Sun.

Use this week's theme to inspire you to create your project and then link it up at the bottom
of this post before 6:00pm (Central Time) on Sunday.

  1. Hello, my friends! I saw that this week's challenge needs more entries, so I just linked up this cute little kraft block for fun. You don't need to comment or anything. I just wanted to help out. I hope you're all doing well.
    Hugs,
    Karen
