Challenge #241 - Take Your Pick

It's time to play Take Your Pick!  Hello and thanks for stopping by the Kraft Journal today.

Today's Challenge #241 Take Your Pick is always fun so use the chart below for inspiration!

Tammy Hobbs
Tammy made a sweet kids number birthday card picking items from Take Your Pick challenge.  It shows how our challenge is always open to interpretation. She used Die-cuts, Purple, Ribbon, and Patterned Paper ( and her patterned paper has glitter in it). She started with a card base of Brown Kraft Cover Weight Card Stock onto which she added her glittered patterned paper. Next she took a piece of Buff Ivory Card Stock and cut it to the size she needed and rounded the top two corners. She stamped her Happy and Birthday in pink and lavender inks adding her die-cut squared chipboard in the middle adding the 8. She die-cut the th and placed it to the upper right of the number. She die-cut and stamped some candles and placed them on the lower left corner where they would peek out from the Lilac Lace Seam Binding she wrapped around the card front tying in a fluffy bow embellished with a button and Pink Baker's Twine. Lastly, Tammy added a few colorful sequins for an added touch of glitz.  For additional pictures and product information, please visit Tammy's blog: Creating Somewhere Under The Sun.

Marsha Drain
For this weeks challenge Marsha picked die cuts, ribbon, leaves, and embossing for her three four items from the list. The card base is her favorite Brown Kraft cardstock then a layer of Buff Ivory. She added the sweet fall owl and embellished the card with pumpkin colored ribbon and topped it off with a die cut and embossed set of pumpkins with green leaves.  She managed to get all three of her elements in one! Karen Letchworth
DT Member Karen Letchworth sure had fun with this week's "Take Your Pick" challenge.  She decided to use patterned papers, die-cuts, a tag, and ribbon to create a fun birthday card.  Her card started with a Small Buff/Ivory Note Card to which she attached her patterned papers.  Then, she placed a Small Grungy Prim Shipping Tag to that with some die-cut balloons that have tails made from Baker's Twine.  She tied a bow at the top using Hand-Stained Bias Tape.  You're welcome to stop by Karen's blog, My Cup Runneth Over, to take a closer look.  Karen also hopes that  you will play along in this week's FUN "Take Your Pick" Challenge, and show us how YOU interpret the challenge.

Use this week's theme to inspire you to create your project and then link it up at the bottom
of this post before 6:00pm (Central Time) on Sunday.
Please limit your entries two per challenge, others will be deleted.
