Marsha loves pumpkins and just about anything made with pumpkin so this was a fun challenge for her. The pumpkin recipe and the word "pumpkin" are both stickers in the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Salvage Seasonal Stickers book. Those and the die cut pumpkins are on a piece of Buff Ivory that she distressed with distress ink. Warm Brown Kraft was used to back the recipe and used as the card base. For this week's Anything Goes- Pumpkin challenge, Tammy decorated two Small Kraft Pillow Boxes for the upcoming Halloween holiday and filled them with treats. She took a piece of designer paper and wrapped it around the pillow box. Using Blackboard Stock Paper, she die-cut some ric-rac borders to add to the front. Next she took Black Twill Tape and wrapped it around the pillow box and tied a bow at the top. Again, using Blackboard Stock Paper, she made a paper rosette to add to the center adding a circular greeting and a die-cut pumpkin to complete her Pillow Box treats. Karen Letchworth absolutely LOVES Autumn. It's her favorite time of year because it's not too hot, not too cold, and she delights in the beautiful colors of the changing leaves and the smells of apple cider, pumpkin pie and other favorites. So, making her projects for this week's Pumpkin Challenge was a lot of fun for her, and the Kraft Outlet made it all so easy. First, Karen made a card with a Small Buff/Ivory Weight Note Card and covered it with a piece of Buff/Ivory Cover Weight Card Stock. Next, she added a piece of wood-grain patterned paper, and then added a Jenny Bowlin Vintage Mini Deck Basics Journalling Card to which she attached a sweet little Tim Holtz Rusty Paper Clip. Karen also added some cute paper straws to her card that she secured with Natural Hemp Cord and Green Baker's Twine. She used several small pieces of Buff/Ivory Cover Weight Card Stock - she stamped her pumpkins on it, and displayed them on an inked square of it. You can see how useful this high-quality paper really is. Karen also made a cute little decorative paper mache pumpkin box that she painted and glittered. She embellished it with a Small Grunge Prim Tag, Black Twill Tape, and Natural Hemp Cord. You're welcome to stop by Karen's Blog, My Cup Runneth Over, to read more about both of her projects, and to see additional photos. We look forward to seeing YOUR sweet creations for this week's Pumpkin Challenge.
