Take Your Pick Challenge #249

Welcome to the Kraft Journal and this weeks challenge.
It is time to play Take Your Pick with Challenge #249.

All you have to do is use three items from the list above and show us how you used them. The design team used these items and have come up with three completely different takes on their designs.  Let's see what they did with the list!

Tammy Hobbs
For this week's Take Your Pick, Tammy chose: Turkey, Stamped, Top Fold, Seam Binding, Doily, and Orange. She began her card with a base of Light Kraft Cover Weight cardstock onto which she adhered her pieced fall pattern papers. She placed a White Doily, now carried at The Kraft Outlet to the middle of her prepped piece. Using Light Kraft Cover Weight cardstock,  a stitched rectangle die was created for the main focal panel. She stamped and paper pieced her turkey and pumpkin to the center adding her stamped sentiment. Lastly, she created a fussy bow from Hand Stained Bias Tape (Seam Binding) which she embellished with a fall leaf button tucking in some Prima fall leaves under the ribbon treatment for added embellishment. Karen Lethworth
For this week's Pick Any Three Challenge, Design Team Member, Karen Letchworth wanted to try out the new doilies now available at the Kraft Outlet.  She started with a Small Lunch Bag Kraft Note Card and attached some patterned papers.  Next, she added one half of a White Paper Doily, and topped that with some Seam Binding and a length of Tim Holtz Ruler Ribbon.  Karen stamped her sentiment onto a piece of coordinating patterned paper, and added a small snippet of the same Tim Holtz Ruler Ribbon as her finishing touch.  You can read more about her project by visiting her blog, My Cup Runneth Over.   Karen hopes that you will play along in this week's Pick 3 Challenge.

Marsha Drain
Autumn - Marsha's favorite time of year.  Two reasons for that are the colors and Thanksgiving Day.  For her Take Your Pick Thanksgiving card, Marsha cut out and embossed several colors of leaves, including Orange from the Take Your Pick list. Then she put them on the beautiful Buff Ivory Text Paper which was layered onto Lunch Bag Text Paper and then attached to the top opening card.  The for more detail she used seam binding ribbon is Rose Beige and Oatmeal.  Her Happy Thanksgiving sentiment was stamped on the front to bring the whole card together. Her three choices from Take Your Pick were - top fold, seam binding, and stamped.  For more details, please visit her blog, Gramma's Room.
