Challenge #220 Anything Goes - Girlfriends!

Welcome back friends, today the Challenge #220 is Anything Goes - Girlfriends!  I'm sure we all have special women in our lives who we couldn't get along without.  I know I do.  I have my sister, who is my best girlfriend.  Then I have a group of 4 girlfriends who are like family.  We have been together since our son's were in Kindergarten together and those boys are now 27.  We know all the dirt on them and still love them!

Let's see how the design team uses Girlfriends in there Anything Goes challenge.

 Marsha Drain
Marsha used a lot of products from the Kraft Outlet for this card.  The card base is Light Kraft.  The light colored panel is Buff Ivory on which she sponged some distress ink.  The crumpled flowers were made by cutting out Brown Kraft Text paper with a scalloped die, clipping, sponging, wetting with water and then crumpling.   "Friends is stamped onto a Small Grungy Prim Tag.  Marsha loves how the center of the tag is not stained and seems to highlight the word.   For more details about her card, please visit her blog, Grammasroom.

Karen Letchworth
For this week's Anything Goes/Girlfriends Challenge, Karen decided to make a sweet little tag for a friend.  She used a Blackboard Tag and inked the edges with white chalk ink to give it the chalkboard effect.  Next, she added a rub-on sentiment using her Bone Folder Tool.  To decorate the Blackboard Tag, Karen added a pinwheel embellishment by attaching it to a Tim Holtz Memo Pin.  She also tied several lengths of Black Baker's Twine around the pin and at the top of her tag.  For more information on this project, you're invited to visit Karen's Blog, My Cup Runneth Over.

Tammy Hobbs
For this week's "Anything Goes - Girlfriends" challenge, Tammy created a card for a dear friend. She started by creating an A2 card base of Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock onto which she layered a Vintage Dictionary Page to Blackboard Stock Paper.  Next Tammy die-cut a tag from the remaining scraps of Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock and Blackboard Stock Paper and layered that to the left side of the card front after she added her sentiment and die-cut daisy. She took a snippet of White Twill Tape to the top of the tag adding a silver flower button over a bow made from Natural Hemp Cord. Lastly, she added three enamel dots to the upper right corner. For additional product information, please visit Tammy's blog: Creating Somewhere Under The Sun.
