We return you to your challange already in progress.

It is getting close to Christmas and with so much going on we are so happy you joined us today for Challenge #254 Take Your Pick.  Select three items from the list below and show us your creative take on making a card using those three elements.

Karen Letchworth
For this week's Pick Three Challenge, Karen Letchworth did what she often does......use more than just three.  From the list, Karen incorporated a Santa, ribbon, green, tag, and an envelope.  She started her project with a really cool Lunch Bag Kraft #10 Open End Policy Envelope and folded it half way up and machine stitched it to create a pocket card.  These Lunch Bag Kraft #10 Open End Policy Envelopes are awesome because they're really big, and you can tuck things (photos, gift cards, a letter, etc.) inside of them.  She covered the Envelope with some patterned papers and added a couple of tags that are hung with both Red Baker's Twine and Green Baker's Twine.  Karen also added some Seam Binding and a Santa flair pin.  You can see this project on Karen's Blog, My Cup Runneth Over; and she really hopes you will play along in this week's Pick 3 Challenge.

Tammy Hobbs
For this week's Take Your Pick challenge, Tammy chose snowman, green, glitter, and ribbon. Tammy started with a card base of Brown Kraft Cover Weighcardstock where she added a rectangle layer of green and white snowflake patterned paper to the center. Next, she took a length of red seam binding ribbon and wrapped it around the left side of the card front making a fussy bow adding in some white seam binding, A bow was made of Red Baker's Twine which was embellished further with a green button layered as a topping to the ribbon treatment. She die-cut a circle from white cardstock and stamped her sweet little snowman directly to the circle next paper piecing the hat and scarf adding a touch of glitter to the hat.  She added three black pearls for buttons.  Tammy stamped her sentiment in black ink. For a final embellishing touch, she placed a few enamel dots on the card. For additional pictures and product details, please visit Tammy's blog: Creating Somewhere Under The Sun.

Marsha Drain
Ribbon, green, and tags, those are the three elements that Marsha chose from the list to make her card this week.  She LOVES the Grungy Prim Tags from Kraft Outlet and the lovely staining gives them a vintage look.   Stamping ornaments onto cardstock, adding a bit of color and then cutting them out and attaching them to the stained tags expresses the feeling of the holiday season.  Marsha then strung them through some holiday ribbon made for a simple, yet lovely card.  For more details, please visit her blog, Gramma's Room

  1. I went to the KJ store and was trying to find what was part of the 40% off sale but did not find what was on sale. I was thinking there would be something to click on to tell me what items were part of the sale. Please let me know what is on sale.
